Breaking news! Breaking news! Obama...

Other breaking front page news on ABC today:

"Blindsided Elin breaks silence on Tiger moments after divorce"

"56 year old Chimpanzee is mom"

"Woman gets death threats after trashing cat"

"Miss Philippines never made a mistake?"

Who still watches/reads network "news" expecting more than cheesy entertainment?

Default Vacation.......whats a vacation?

When was the last time you took a vacation ? As my wife likes to remind me , our last vacation was in 2001 and it was a working vacation. I wonder how many people are vacationing like they used to...........................Breaking News: President Obama Says "I'm Having a Great Time" On Vacation - Political Punch P.S. Understand a lot of people my self included don't necessarily live for that next vacation, it is a matter of priorities for some.

I vacation quite a bit. I think last year I did three big (out-of-state, more than 4 day) vacations but in between those I do a lot of weekend getaways and sometimes I just do stay-cations where we'll go to a hotel right here and enjoy the amenities....but I'm sure that wasn't really the point of that question so I don't know why I'm answering.

I'm on vacation #3 this year, heading on a mediterranean cruise next month. We generally do 3 decent vacations each year, with a couple weekend getaways in between. I'd rather have a nice trip every year than a newer car or a bigger house, but it's just a matter of priorities, I guess.

I always take the vacation my company gives me. You should too.

And stop ragging on Obama for going on vacation. His vacations actually save the tax payers billions.
