Just can't let go of the Bush's, eh? The Bush's took no where near as many vacations as the Obama's do and when they did, it was to their own home in Texas, and they weren't dragging along dozens of friends to exotic places

It would be different if he went to the same location each time, where at that location he had everything he needs to run the show, without special interest of DC in his ear constantly.
The only reason a President needs to be in DC, is if a bill needs to be signed.

Like it or not, Obama doesn't have "compound" and is free to holiday where he chooses.
He's the president, not a slave.

Different, different, different, different, different, different, different, different, different, different, different, different. All of every other president's vacations were different than Obama's, eh? The lengths some will go to try to justify the other pres' taking vacations, yet not Obama.

Bush spent 1/3 of his presidency on vacation. The links have been posted numerous times. You have no idea who the Bushes took down to TX with them. If they didn't take the WH staff, there is no way Bush was doing everything he could have done in the WH. I realize that no president is ever really on vacation, but Bush was basically "on call" down in Texas. He would sometimes go weeks w/o a public appearance when he was down there. What exotic place are the Obamas vacationing in, and who did they "drag" along, except for their own daughters and the necessary SS?
He sure is free to holiday where he chooses and proves it every week, must be nice. but what about the economy and the rest of us? oh that don;t matter much
