You might have this experience, I have seen mom's support each other many times. But then again ,it goes with women not liking women nothing to do with them being a mom.

That is a topic for another thread.

by now reasonable explanation should have been provided about the birth certificate.
it is proven his mother is american so with or without birth certificate he is legally president. but i suspect that he does not have one. i know i know i supported him, please dont however reelect him.

Thanks, I don't spend my time looking at every Obama issue, so I hadn't seen that. How convenient it was on the back and the scan didn't pick it up. So, much for making darn sure we couldn't question the realness of the certificate.

"I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my foreheadâ€

It's statements like this that shows his Character

He seems to bring this stuff on himself

Most likely to distract from the excellent way he's
changing greatest nation in the history of the world.

I don't understand how that statement is a poor reflection on his character. It sounded to me like an attempt to close the discussion and get back to more important matters.

I find all this talk of citizenship fascinating, and I have learned quite a bit by following this thread, but I really don't understand why the topic still brings people out of the woodwork. He's president, and his term is limited. Think about what's likely to happen if the Birthers successfully roust him out. Do any of you really consider Biden an improvement?

Yes, but England requires that you reaffirm your citizenship by age 21. If not, you are no longer a citizen.

For the 1000 times that this has been addressed: YOUR father and mother DO NOT have a SAY on your citizenshp status. IF you're born in AMerica on AMerican Soil you are NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. There are no ifs ands or buts; Wong Kim Ark affirmed this .YOU cannot ignore Wong Kim Ark and the more you continue to deny the ruling in that court decision the more you prove to everyone that you parrot the talking points of racists (who were the ones that CAME up with Vattel in the first place)

And there is nothing in the Constitution that says you can't be dual citizenship and still not qualify for Natural born status (which has been affirmed over and over and over and over again, that all you have to be is BORN in the US - and you can't give up your citizenship unless YOU physically go to an embassy to do so ). A person born in the US can live in Germany all his life, and still be considered a citizen in the of the US.

Thomas Jefferson, who spent many years in France, became a French Citizen before he became President of the United States (he didn't give up his US Citizenship)

General Abridgement and Digest of American Law

Quote:
According to the usages and understanding of all nations a man may have all the rights of a naturalized citizen or subject in his adopted country, and yet retain all his relations, civil and political, in his native country. For instance, the Marquis La Fayette was naturalized in the United States, but retained every such relation to France. So Mr. Jefferson was naturalized in France and there made a French citizen, and had he gone there would have been entitled to all the rights there of an adopted citizen, but he certainly retained all his relations to the United States, his rights and duties as a native citizen, and was in fact after such naturalization, elected President of the United States….Suppose Mr. Jefferson should go to France, where of course he would be a naturalized citizen or subject, and a war should take place between France and the United States, and he should be taken in arms fighting against them, and the United States should proceed to punish him as a traitor, and France should claim him and forbid the punishment, and say allegiance and protection are reciprocal, and he owes allegiance to France and is entitled to her protection: should we not say we admit the principle? But Mr. Jefferson has to every intent his protection in the United States; as he not only holds, but by their laws can here inherit real estate, claim his writ of habeas corpus, his jury trial, and a right to elect and to be elected to any office, even to that of President of the United States; and therefore it is we claim his allegiance, as it is his native and original allegiance, and the United States have never agreed to dissolve it, this allegiance takes place in case of collision of all other allegiance.
Seems that the law and the Constitution didn't have a problem with that.

So we have a Dual citizenship President before Obama.
Chester A Arthur's father was not a citizen (he didn't become a citizen till after Chester was born) who was President

There were many other Presidents and VICE Presidents (who require to have the same qualifications as Presidents) who did not have citizen parents.

the more you say "it can't happen" the more that history has proven you wrong

Wrong about Vattel (his work never mentioned Natural born citizen in any shape or form till AFTER the Constitution was written, and after he was dead)
Wrong about dual citizenship (as noted above)
Wrong about the birth certificate (as Hawaii officials have stated over and over again, he was born in Hawaii, and that what he has shown on his website is the form that Hawaii gives out)

And all references by our forefathers was to ENGLISH Common Law who used subjects (because they were a monarchy). And In fact Jefferson USED subjects at one time before replacing the term with Citizen in our very own Declaration of Independence:

http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/20...e-declaration/

remember, these were people who were subjected to the tyranny of a monarchy and wanted to SEPARATE themselves from any reference to a monarchy.

The more lies you trott out, the easier it is to show that they are lies.
