You can't possibly be serious.

To put it in plain words, the article is claiming that if you go to an all white school, we dont consider that segregation, but if you go to an all black school, that is segregation.
No. Read that sentence again. What it's stating is that 92.7% of Black students in West Virginia go to a majority White school. That means that only 7.3% of West Virginia's Black students are in a minority majority school.

Perhaps you should stop posting. You seem to be failing to understand basic math and cannot seem to comprehend the information provided in the WaPo article.

You don't get to redefine income inequality to fit your agenda.

Exactly, and the poor concentrated in those areas swing the votes of their entire states.

And the below quote is funny...

The 3 Largest cities in the nation are indeed in blue States, but 4 of the 11 Biggest cities in the Nation are in Texas.Houston(#4), Dallas(#9) San Antonio(#7) and Austin(#11), Phoenix is the 6th largest city in the nation and it is in Arizona.

Half the top 10 largest cities are in the South.
Look at the population numbers. They tell the whole story. Poverty is highest in cities, not rural areas, as I've already shown. The most populous cities are in blue states, by far. It's not even close.

It's basic math. You seem to have a hard time understanding that 8+ million (largest blue state city) is more than 2+ million (largest red state city). You do know that 8 > 2 ...no?

No it doesn't, nor does it change the fact that NY is a democratic stronghold just as Texas is republican. Texas may well become democrat as people flood in seeking opportunity.

Only due to certain areas, like NYC. Look at the map:

Also, you might want to take a gander at the top twenty universities in the USA and note their location.....Is even one located in a Red State?

This can actually be done. If fact I have done it and posted some interesting results here on C-D. im not going to take the time to find it all, but if you are intested you can search my threads.

There is a thing called the Nations Report Card. It shows ranking of the states in education breaking down by different grades and by subjects like Math, Reading and I think Science is included...

since I live in Texas and at the time Wisconsin was in the news over the teacher union thing, I compared the two.

Texas was ranked about dead center of the states and Wisconsin was ranked overall at number 5.

That was a good starting point and certainly speaks to your point.

However, when you dig in you find some very interesting things.

First of all Texas ranked higher in educating white kids, black kids, hispanic kids and even asian kids....

BUT Wisconsin is 82% White and Texas is just shy of 50% white. Guess what? demographics is the ONLY reason WI the "liberal" state ranked ahead of Texas. I did further digging and with few exceptions found this to be true in most places. Mass ranked higher accross the board. it is certainly a liberal state but it does a good job even when taking demographis into consideration BUT that was an exception and not the norm.

The truth is, that silly notion that the liberal states are better only holds true when the demograpics lower the minority populations.

if memory serves, Texas ranked right behind Mass when you take these factors into account. One Lib one Con both doing a pretty good job all things considered...

Look at the largest city and its poverty rate.

Newark: 28%

Furthermore...
