Nobody was laughing at anyone, I was just making a point.
We are a very political family. We were discussing politics, R's vs D's.
I merely spoke up and stated the fact that WE are responsible for what is going on due to the fact that we have ignored the Constitution.
Just as all of your answers to lifes problems are in the Bible, ALL of our answers to our national problems are in the Constitution.
But I'M seen as a "radical"!
Well, then why don't you run for office? Call a press conference and announce that you know how many times the Constitution has been amended, and wait for the applause.
A friend emailed me one of those "history" quizzes the other day. That question was on there, early in the quiz, and when I saw it, I groaned. I thought, "Oh, no, not one of these quizzes again, with questions about minutiae that is irrelevant". I guessed at the answer (quiz was multiple choice) and I guess I got it right b/c I only missed one question and it wasn't that. I'm not sure that's the most important thing one needs to know about the constitution, unless one is a constitutional scholar.
One WWII Vet, one Korean War vet and a Vietnam vet.
