You can't start and stop it at will--YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT EVERY DAY, WHETHER YOU'RE HAVING SEX OR NOT. The pill costs exactly the same if you have ZERO sex during the month, or if you're having it multiple times a day. Are you really that ignorant?

Second, even Rush admits that what he said was awful. He called her a **** and a prostitute--how is that not directed at her personally? Unfortunately, he's trying to pass it off as a joke now. I'm a republican woman, I have a great sense of humor, and I'm not laughing.

Why I Apologized to Sandra Fluke - The Rush Limbaugh Show

There you have it...as seen in this thread, RW men have no compunction
when it comes to alienating voters; the need to vilify and lie openly is the new GOP strategy, country be damned. Reagan is spinning in his grave.

Let's say you, after paying health insurance premiums, need a $10,000 operation.
Since you can afford the 10G yourself, you tell the insurance company since you can afford it YOU will pay it...even though it's coverd by the insurance company.

You would really do that???!!! Wouldn't that be stupid?

Why do you think Ms. Fluke should do it ?

$1000 a year would not only include the prescription, but the doctor's visits, which would also not be covered. You have to be seen by a physician to go on the pill, and then do follow-up monitoring, because some women have serious side effects, and the pill can aggravate some preexisting health conditions. Since the pill adds additional progesterone and estrogen to your body, different brands can and can't be tolerated by some women. Just because Walmart offers $9.00 a month generic birth control pills doesn't mean that many women can take them. Walmart offers the $9 generics for only two different types--I checked it out--when a much broader range of BC pills to deal with different women's bodies and needs are offered at a much higher price. If you are using the pill to treat a medical condition, the costs of care and monitoring (lab work, etc.) would be even higher.
Loving the moving goal post!

First, condoms aren't covered under health plans.

Second, it's not a matter of not affording contraceptives but a matter of what is legitimate for health plan coverage. Doctors will tell you that there are many ailments that are treated with oral contraceptives.

Moreover, where do you draw the line? Do you deny coverage for medicines that treat obese people, on the premise that they just need to diet? What about medicines for erectile dysfunction?

The fact is that contraceptives have been considered a legitimate part of drug coverage for a long time and for the GOP to introduce this as an issue now only further underscores how regressive their thinking is.

The article I posted was from a writer. She just also happens to be on my FB 'friends' list.

I couldn't care any less what leftists think of me. I'm here to expose them.
What do you call a PROVEN sexually active cheating POS man.... like Newt Gingrich?

And you believe ALL sexually active women, including your mother, your grandmother, your daughters, your sisters, and friends are S----.... interesting...

Leader Pelosi, Members of Congress, good morning, and thank you for calling this hearing on women’s health and allowing me to testify on behalf of the women who will benefit from the Affordable Care Act contraceptive coverage regulation.

Here was the question;

Of course, you can't answer it, because the whole kerfluffle is a made up, manufactured story by the Left.

This 30 year old WOMAN enrolled in a Jesuit University and then proceeded to complain about their BC policy.

Again, she can afford $65K a year in tuition but can't afford to pay for her own BC at $9/month?

Rush...the guy who slams people for infidelity, yet was married 4 times. The same guy who says drug users should be put in jail, yet he's a drug addict himself.
