Yes, but he also is more concerned about them and the wealthy than he is about the working class. No surprised there. He wants to deregulate them and continue letting Wall Street play by their own rules. That's why the OWS needs to pick up some speed and get things moving.
This is opinion and not fact. You and I obviously have opposing ideoligical philosphies. That is fine - but your view of things doesn't mean that Romney wants a plutocracy. Belief that he does is a function of your negative perception of his economic philosophy. I know what you think about "the wealthy" and I also believe that you are wrong. This is a primary dividing line between the right and the left - the liberals think capitalism is evil and that those who participate in the marketplace should be saddled with regulations, and conservatives believe that the free market is the best economic system - the source of our sucess and prestige - and embrace freedom and oportunity for those who wish to work hard and earn their living. You see workers as being exploited - while I see people with skills who voluntarily sell their labor to the highest bidder(employers).
I could go on and on about our philosophical differences - but the fact remains that you have no conclusive evidence that Romney wants a plutocracy. Because he doesn't.
Oh, don't act as though you're obtuse; the protestors were clearly complaining about the recent SCOTUS decision that corporations are the same as people when it comes to campaign contributions. That's a ludicrous concept, but this court may be the most ideological and incompetent that America has had. If you're working, I hope your boss or CEO donates heavily to Obama.
That is nice - but the assertion that the poster was attempting to defend using the video was that Romney wants a plutocracy. Care to explain how the video demonstrates this to be true?

Tell me how many birther cases have been successful and I might do your leg work for you.

Why don't you ask a birther for that information.
What legwork? The idea that Romney wants a plutocracy is a bit of political fiction - if you believe that it is true - then it is your responsibility to defend it. I'm not a Romney supporter - but that is something that is categorically false - and I am not going to let a mischaracterization stand unchallenged.
Can we bring this thread back to how the Birth Certificate is not a fake an birthers are just grasping at the racist straws again?
LOL - the discussion about Romney began because I was making the argument that birthers are not solely motivated by race - Meph brought up Alan Keyes and Herman Cain and said that they were token black candidates used to distract from the aims of "white supremacy and plutocracy". I pressed for an explanation and got the story about Romney wanting this type of government to be implemented. I suppose we could complete the circle...

Yeah, keep dreaming! You tell people the lie enough times, and they'll believe it. I don't have a problem with the wealthy as much as I do greed. Unregulated capitalism is evil because all it does is concentrate the wealth into the hands of fewer people. The needs of the many should outweigh the needs of the few. Read Das Kapital sometime whenever you get a chance. The wealthy aren't the only ones who work hard. Have you ever dug ditches, paved roads, or picked produce out in the sweltering heat for a living? Have you ever slept in foxholes during war or worked tirelessly on a ship 16 hours a day with very little sleep?

I have worked hard for every penny that I have earned and some of those jobs have been rather gritty. What is your point?
Your perception is clouded by an idealistic philosophy that has been tried and failed. Das Kapital? Really?
I am not going to argue capitalism over socialism - this is a birther thread and we are already off track. I just want a clear defendable argument that Mitt Romney plans to implement a plutocracy if he is elected - one that is not colored by your opinions - but that is demonstrably true.
I will save you the time and effort by stating that this cannot be done. If you concur - then I am satisfied and we can move on.

Please be my guest. However, it's not going to be an issue because Mitt Romney is going down in the election. Get ready for four more years of prosperity under Obama.
