Numerous states disagree with your contention that one must only be a non felon adult in order to vote.
House burned down. Robbed, and stolen. Burden of proof required to get the ID in the first place.
I find it interesting to note how certain segments of the population are all about freedom for everyone, and were against National Level IDs years ago. But yet are now effectively pushing the exact opposite.

What the? You do know there are non-citizens living here in the US? So the other poster went on a trip out west. If he didn't break any laws, there would be no reason for anyone to stop him at any time.
