Oh look, another nice poster with a lot of crap to say.

Us guys?

The grids that had hospitals and nursing homes on them were the first up and running. Are you talking about a Smart Grid? Your state has that? Good for you. You're state is SOOOOO much "smarter" than mine.

We have no control over how our BLUE STATE power companies run things.

Minnesota huh?

You guys have it all together there doncha? With the 500 people who live in the entire state. 20 of them still have their original teeth and they're under 20years age.

Thanks, some of us still don't have power. I do, but some of my neighbors are running generators. 14 days in.

You're very sweet. I appreciate your concern. Thanks.

Hope you get 50 feet of snow in one storm, smartass. Then you can talk about how smart "you guys" are when the news shows what it always does: you all trying to clear the snow, freezing in your houses without power, the damage done, and the always inevitable car pile ups on the roads - in a state that should know better, because it's part of living there. Not a 100 year storm.

Will SURELY be thinking of your poor, poor state. That no one would ever purposely move to.

ouch to flipping funny, Ohhh sticks and stones.....

FYI a large majority of the small towns in Minnesota have enough Municipal owned power generation to isolate from the grid and carry power for weeks, Typically ranging from 2000-10,000 hp these units are more than enough to support loads throughout the state, many of these CI-ICE units have been installed since the 60's with the latest wave of uits installed in the last 10 years..... Beyond that the vast majority of communities in MN have or are in the process of completely putting their local distribution grid underground....You know where the wind can't get to it....We are well aware of the power of mother nature...I would recommend reading the story of the Three little pigs to bring yourself up to speed...

P.S. Distribution grid is below 69kv...69kv and up is considered a transmission grid.

P.P.S. Better check the Blue Red map....Minnesota is as blue as NY........

Only the ignorant continue the blue state, red state argument. When are you people going to realize that there is no such thing. I guess you consider Florida a blue state? Florida 50.0% Obama 49.1 Romney.

Ohio 50.1 Obama 48.2 Romney. Virginia....................... you get the idea. Every state in the union is mixed red and blue. Wise up. Your state is no better than any other,

Agreed. Many deep "blue" states are mostly "red" and the deep "red" ones have "blue" spots.

If a state wants to secede, please do so. Quit talking the talk and walk the walk already. This is getting to be such a bad soap opera...

Texas has over 70K signatures. I say 1 signature is enough to convince me. Texas is one aweful state to live in IMO. My time there was weird. After living in Washington State with out of the box thinkers, Mountains, streams, and beauty everywhere...Texas was like living in the Matrix. Nothing seems right to me in that state. The racist, the bible belt influence, that freaken Tx flag with that obnoxious stare. Texas, you have my blessing to Git yer self outa thar Partner.

You guys are failing to realize. No one expects to secede from the union. The purpose of this is a VERY large part of the nation does not feel represented by the government that just got elected.

Protests like this lets word out that they are not happy with the administration and there policies, maybe the administration should look twice at these people and try to represent them as well even if its not full to their agenda.

Or probalby do what they have done and just ignore them and **** off a large part of the country.
