Weird how the RWNJs are concerned with "death panels" After all, death should be their gateway to paradise, I guess they really do not believe in an afterlife after all...
I wonder how many people here who are whining about children dying are bone marrow donors. All bone marrow and stem cell donors are living, and help and overwhelmingly skewed young population living with blood cancers. Every day, people - often children or young adults with leukemia or lymphoma - die because they cannot find a match. Few people are donors.
Organ donations are difficult all around. It's hard to get to the top of the transplant list, difficult to find a match, and surviving the transplant process is an incredibly emotionally, physically, and financially difficult road. There is no way to make it fair, and any decisions made invariably mean people die.
This thread needs a fork (or a little levity) because it is a major FAIL.
And it has nothing to do with simply disagreeing with the OP but because it was devoid of FACTS from the get go.
