Yes, many more people pay local and state taxes. And they get local and state government benefits and services, e.g. police, schools, roads, etc.

Why should the ~47% of the tax-eligible who pay local and state taxes but no federal income tax receive any federal government benefits and services? They don't contribute to the federal government.
A liberal would argue with you that they DO pay federal taxes with their payroll taxes, but never admit that they get that money back and then some if they live long enough.

Those who don't pay taxes should not vote.

They cannot even manage their own life, so they should not be allowed to manage the country.

Because we live in a society?

If, for some reason, you did not or could not pay local taxes, does that mean you shouldn't get fie and police response should you have an emergency?

As has been stated and shown numerous times, pretty much everybody pays taxes of one kind or another.

How does someone paying few or no taxes mean they can't manage their own life? Does that also count for CEOs who use loopholes in order to not declare all of their profit and income, etc.?

Do you not know firefighters and police services are provided to us as a courtesy rather than obligation? You do know the difference right?

Courtesy means you get what you get and be thankful for what you get. Obligation means the government has to provide such services to you and if they fail, they are liable for compensating you.

So when someone retires after 50 years of working and payroll taxes, any and all federal benefits should be cut off? Is that what you're saying?

If they don't pay any federal taxes, what's justification for them to receive federal benefits?

Then NO ONE should have to pay federal income tax. Those who pay federal income tax live in that same society but they don't get federal government benefits and services for free. Instead, they're tax SLAVES. Some are federal income tax SLAVES for nearly 1/4 of every year.
