As do atheists so your point is moot.

Everyone wants the government to make a law making "their" view the only legal view or action.
Government has turned into your parent and church here legislating what you can eat and who you can have a relationship with and when life begins.

Government has successfully chiseled away at 2 of the 4 pillars of society and are working on the third so that only they are left standing and making all the rules under which you live.

Is that really the society you want ?

Your tu quoque is invalid. Progressives go out by the masses to vote for people to have more rights. Conservatives love to talk about keeping government out of our lives, but then you guys turn around and put in moronic laws like anti-sodomy laws.

Right, and standardize healthcare standards is the same thing as throwing people in prison for having physical relationships with consenting adults. Good one there.

Nobody is thrown in prison which only goes to show that you are flailing at straw men.
