I can't swallow the argument that the right wing supports infrastructure in this country, when engineer surveys are repeatedly showing we have a third world type crumbling system, and they refuse to pay to have it repaired and updated.
Democrats had control of Congress for decades.
They had the Congress, Senate and Presidency for the first 2 years of Obama.
But it's Republicans fault? lol.
The left is always bitching about infrastructure. Infrastructure is not a problem in this country. I can get in my car and go anywhere I want with no problems. So can you. It aint a problem.
If the government in question was a monarchy, like the British monarchy we emancipated from, then limiting its powers is definitely a far left wing proposition lol
They were not limiting the monarchy they were creating a brand new limited government. They could have created a monarchy if they had wanted to. lol
We arent talking about waste and fraud here, we are simply talking about cutting so much that you cant sustain yourself even at the bare minimum.
They is money to be found, and if not maybe look at ways of bring in more of it, slash regulation, maybe allow people to spend their money any way they see fit, gambling, drugs and selling of the intimate self should be allowed.
The left wing has the GI bill, the new deal, social security. What about the right wing?
The US Constitution, and in particular the Bill of Rights, was in essence a right-wing document, insofar as right wing=individualism and limited government, as opposed to left wing=collectivism and bigger government. The Constitution was the schematic for the greatest nation in the history of the world. Starting about 100 years ago under Woodrow Wilson we began chipping away at it, and it's probably a matter of time before "American Exceptionalism" is a dead letter. In the past, the wealthiest regions in America were places like New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Silicon Valley--centers of innovation, finance, and manufacturing. Now the richest region is Washington DC, the center of rent-seeking.
Then you're petulantly insisting on living in delusion. Not only was I a Republican, but I actually worked on Jack Kemp's campaign for Senate. What's really funny is how often I'm "accused" of being a Republican by left-wingers, especially in discussions about what is and is not a monopoly, matters relating to consumer purchase agreements and terms and conditions, and matters of immigration reform.
.
I have to know, what is your stance on immigration?
Why are you guy coming on this thread if you don't even know what right wing means. Being to the right means you accept social inequality. What does freeing the slaves have to do with accepting social inequality. You guys are as dishonest as your politicians.
Hmmm...Id honestly expected to see more posts about the great things R have done. Had some good ones from Nixon (and despite the reputation he DID do some good things).

You don't get to define right wing to your own definitions. Oh, and the way, your definition is wrong.
