I've seen it happen myself.... It's mayhem.

By the way, seeing these comments here I wonder where these people live? Mogadishu? Faludjah? Tikrit?
I very been walking around without a gun all my life and nothing ever happened to me or my family. Interesting.

I've been walking around with a gun for the past 5 years and nothing has ever happened and I hope nothing ever will... but I'm prepared just in case , are you ?
Oh and I live in the metro Detroit area... so no IED's to deal with but plenty of bad guys.

Sounds like a Utopia, you are more than welcomed to move there if you don't like our current laws.

A alcoholic would say "I have driven drunk all my life and nothing ever happened to me or my family."
Interesting

Have you had a house fire? If not, are you willing to drop your insurance coverage and get rid of your smoke detectors? Have you had a car accident? If not, are you willing to not use your seat belt?

Becoming the victim of a crime is a possibility for anyone and the severity is like a car wreck. Some are minor and some can kill you. Most people will go through life without having a seat belt save them. I hope I'm the same way with my gun. But I have had a seat belt save me.

Are you saying that the French, British, Dutch, Italians, Canadians, Japanese, Australians are all drunk while the only sober people live in Texas? Lol

Very good point. He's just as vulnerable anywhere else as he is sitting in a first grade talent show and in some places, arguably even more so.

Not only that, but my .38 stays in my boot during the day and I never take it out for show & tell, or to place it in my truck, with my other pistol a .45, that is beside the seat.

Tell that to the lady at the Ft. Hood Luby's Cafeteria. Who left her weapon in the car.
