Banks are up to the property owner and post offices are off-limits Federally, which is a stupid knee-jerk reaction to an incident that wasn't caused by a customer.
I don't want you near my child with a gun because I don't know what your intent is nor do I know if you are proficient with the weapon in question.
Why can't people simply assume that when someone shows up with a gun they do not have any bad intentions and that they are proficient with the weapon in question? Until they demonstrate otherwise, why question them?
Folks in this country need to learn that when somebody has a firearm they should always be given the benefit of the doubt. Unless and until such time as they shoot or threaten someone or their weapon is accidentally discharged, there is little reason to be concerned. Typically less than 15,000 people a year are accidentally shot and a much smaller number (600 or so) are actually killed. In a number of cases the victim is the gun owner himself.
So the chances or you or your family being injured in an accidental shooting are pretty darn small.
I've been wondering on all these gun discussions. The gun advocates are all for open carry. Now, what if they saw a group of 20 year old black males, pants down to their knees, big shirted carrying guns in their local grocery store. Is that okay? I ask because a black kid got shot and killed by the police in a Walmart due to the false reporting of another white shopper. He had a toy gun in his hands and was murdered for it. Why didn't the police murder those *******s in Target with assault rifles or real guns that kill on their backs??? Just sayin...
Yeah why should anyone need training with a weapon that can easily kill multiple people at a distance. No need for training in the use of such a weapon.

It is absolutely okay. The Second Amendment doesn't say how you have to dress.
And if they want to come by the local elementary school talent show with their firearms they are perfectly within their rights to do that as well. It could do nothing but make things safer.

I really appreciate your candor here. I know that the other gun advocates have no issue with skin color or dress because it is not spelled out in the Constitution. Obviously they would not call the police when they see a group of armed Black men at the local all white elementary school play (those Asians don't really count, do they...) I am clearly suffering from the vapors and have just lost my bearings in the American way. Dear me, I do apologize for questioning such insight. Carry on...

Yep because a school auditorium where everyone in armed is infinitely safer than one where no one is.
