This beheading in a town of 34,000 in Oklahoma doesn't have anything to do with "failed Society" or loss of electricity - it has to do with ONE man who thought it was a good idea to become a Head Chopper. It's certainly reasonable to question the "break down" of a Justice system that sentenced him to prison for 2 years and then let him out within a matter of months.

As I understand it, most of his prior convictions were drug related and one assault and battery.

It was a black man with Jesus tattoos and with an Allah tattoo. Who had just gotten fired. For reasons we do not know. Who got angry, ran his SUV into another car, then entered the front office and started stabbing, with his work knife, the first person he ran into. He stabbed her in the neck so hard he severed her head from her body. He then went on to a second victim, and was only stopped from killing her when the COO of the company shot him. We don't have any idea whether his religion played any part in this attack, we don't even know whether he intended to behead this woman. So, why don't you stay on point, and talk about what it actually is and was. Instead of the massive Islam-bashing we are seeing on this thread.
I don't think so. It take's a very sharp instrument, a lot of skill or time and physical effort to severe a head.
No, we're simply not piling all muslims into the extreme category. The fundamentalists suck & need to be eliminated, the others obviously not. Why is that so hard to understand for some people? The generalizations of many on this forum is staggering. And nope, I wouldn't convert. Because I'm an atheist, I want nothing to do with any religion because I believe most religions are the basis of most evil in this world.
Not all Muslims are violent extremists, but the overwhelming majority of violent extremists are sure as hell Muslim. And we're not even talking about a few hundred or a few thousand, but MILLIONS.
And I seriously don't understand how people can still defend Muslims when these people continually cause death and destruction against Muslims and non-Muslims alike on a daily basis. And even those that aren't as extreme also cause trouble by coming out and protesting and getting angry everytime someone does or says something that supposedly offends their effed up religion.
There is literally NOTHING you can do to appease these people who are eternally angry and so easily offendable short of becoming a Muslim yourself.
And this is why I bring my taser to work. You just never know with as many psychos as there are these days. But on the flip side, I never engage in arguments with people at work or in public anyway. I always turn down a nasty-turning convo by saying the antagonist is right and go mind my business.
I long ago came to the conclusion that hitting myself in the head with a ball peen hammer would be more productive than arguing with some a-hole on the street.
