Whether he is right or wrong to publicly say "n igger" or whether you mean his overall theme, the double standard has to stop.
Either it is so wrong to say so he and others must say the phrase "N Word". Or, people can say n igger so long as they do not direct it at a person in a negative way in the manner Obama was saying it today.
Heck they bleep out all sorts of words now days, but words against whites or even using God's name in vain are allowed.
I watched a show the other night where OMG was said over and over, yet nary a bleep was heard.
Isn't Obama half white? Can anyone say ****** (see, why is the word filtered?) if in the correct context? I hope more people of all colors become more comfortable saying that or any word. Saying the "n word" sounds dumb.
I'm just curious not trying to attack you , but is there any context in which anyone would be OK with using that N word? It just seems to me, that its offensive and demeaning in any conversation I can think of and is intended to evoke negative and demeaning feelings of little to no worth. It serves no purpose and simply continues that cycle of superiority and hatred>
He wasn't calling anyone the N-word... he merely references people being called the N-word.
Obama is saying what has been common knowledge but not received or accepted as common knowledge. Racism never ended. It was suspended. At some point, someone brilliant said, "wait a minute. We're blocking these (another word for blacks) from making money or shopping...but if we let 'em...we'll make even MORE money than we do now!!"
All of a sudden, doors start opening.
Most of those who held that hate are long dead or in no position to act on those feelings, but if they raised their children to hate (because it IS learned behavior) based on skin, it could never have died out. All it takes is for a racist to get angry about something, anything, and think that it's the fault of someone they were bred to hate, and that lights the match. All it takes is a bigoted cop who assumes someone not of their skin color did a crime or is about to do a crime.
The very first friend I ever had, who I was friends with for 12 years + from childhood to 20, got mad and called me the "N" word. Ever since that incident, I've understood that it's everywhere.
He is a racist moron who feels above ALL rules of society. He does NOTHING about violence unless the victim is black and the perp is white, then it is a media op. I honestly think he WANTS a racial divide in this country. Everything he does and says certainly indicates it.
He wasn't calling anyone the N-word... he merely references people being called the N-word.
Correct, so in response to the poster you were saying this to, you could have said that they just insert the word n igger into their post where they typed "N-word", as they were saying it in the same context as the POTUS was saying it.
