In fact the KKK first used the US Flag before usurping the Battle Flag of Northern Virginia.

Here's a KKK march in 1925 in Washington DC. Look at the flags they are bearing.

Except for one thing. The USA did not seek to secede from Britain over slavery. The American Revolution was about the taxes from the British monarchy. The Confederate cause, on the other hand, slavery was a major part of it. There is proof in the Articles of Secession.

but maybe they just agree with the state rights part and not the slavery part.

Idk why the picked it either but that is just what they use and have been using for a long time now.

This sounds like the same rhetoric you'd hear from ISIS.

It doesn't matter. Slavery was a major part of that. Knowing that, there is no excuse. If you know better, you have excuses, period.

Why does it seem that the chip on the shoulder of the black community keeps getting larger and larger? The next thing will be that the Confederate flag is to blame for all of their current problems, and that until all of those flags are destroyed, the problems of the black people will remain, like broken families and not doing well in school. As far as I am concerned, what black people are good at is complaining and putting the blame on everybody else. Would that I could go back in time and not let any slaves at all be brought to America. What a different America it would be today.

In Great Britain a flat is an apartment. Maybe it's a place where they would rest up after a skirmish.

They are going to see more confederate flags flying now than they ever saw before. The pot has been stirred.
