May I suggest starting with a phrase like "transgender toddler" and check out the news articles that come up. Enjoy!

I didn't make the claim, it's not on me to do your homework for you.

Disingenuous, bad reporting, lack of specificity by the mother. Who is to know? We don't know what the child specifically said. We have what the reporter claims the mother's interpretation of what the child said. You added the reference to sexual orientation. I haven't seen anywhere in the material used or claimed to be used in the classroom where a child would be being taught about sexual orientation.

I didn't add the reference to sexual orientation, it's obvious within the context. If the reporter is a liar and risked their professional reputation, that's a possibility too. But now we're playing the What If game.

Like I tell my kids, worry about your own homework first.

At that age, I wanted to be a robot. It's a good thing my parents didn't take me up on it!!

When I got older, I could reason better to decide what's right for me, not what I repeated because I learned about something new.
