When Colin Kaepernick takes a knee, this is what he's doing it for.

The mayor of Greensboro called Yourse’s mistreatment “ugly,” “brutal” and “completely unnecessary.” She apologized to Yourse on behalf of city council, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.
Yourse told the News & Record that he knew he was “wrongfully messed up.” He wasn’t seriously hurt during the incident.
Greensboro police completed their internal investigation on Aug. 30 ― 11 days after Cole resigned from his position.
Why isn't the former officer being given criminal charges?
There's a separate set of rules for police officers and there's a blue line most officers aren't willing to cross. Prosecutors and DA's are also these people's coworkers. LEOs bring cases to these people daily and they have pretty good cross functional relationships. And these DA's are supposed to prosecute their friends? I don't think so...
When LEOs commit a crime they need to be prosecuted by an outside entity. One that has no association with their jurisdiction, city or state...
Well, it's not racial profiling. Police just get called to these bad neighborhoods looking for the perp so they arrest anyone who looks suspicious.
Someone called the police, OK. This guy produced an ID and the address that he was at was listed on the ID. That should have been the end of this dispatch. But no, the police escalated the situation because they are programmed to undervalue African Americans. This is much worse than racial profiling.. There's a systematic problem with ingrained bigotry and hate...
When the guy got on the phone and starting speaking ghetto, it set the cop off. It looks like the cop has PTSD from all time he spent policing the hood.
race is irrelevent, this stuff can and does happen to anyone.
Race should be irrelevant but it's not. Our country was founded on racism and those ghosts still hunt us to this day. Police brutality can happen to anyone, but it mostly happens to black folks and when it does these people walk free..
Tell me this, if black police officers were contently harassing, violating rights and killing white men do you think we would let that stand? No!
