I support gay marriage, and I think it is absolutely fine for people NOT to support it. It should be allowed.
The argument that "because they don't hurt anyone" is pretty weak. Following the same logic, people should be allowed to walk on the street completely naked or having sex in public spaces too, since they are not hurting anyone.
It is all about public acceptance. There is no right or wrong here. Not supporting gay marriage is not wrong.
Sorta you have rights against people for indecent exposure. I don't think two men holding hands reaches that level.
There are no legal reasons. The proof is that you are not married and not lacking any legal protections. If "being married" led to extra legal rights, then you, as an unmarried heterosexual, would be just as disenfranchised as an unmarried homosexual. It was an argument that was a farce and only made in order to forward gay marriage.
An unmarried heterosexual couple does give up some of the rights of a married couple. If you own property together and have your finances combined it can make a huge difference if one party passes away. If one of you gets sick and ends up in the hospital you are not considered "family" unless you are married.
Most of the benefits of gay marriage will help older couples that have been together for years, not necessarily people in their 20s and 30s.

You are spot on with this. I believe these progressives choose one controversial topic at a time, slowly change its definition so it becomes socially acceptable, and eventually forces the change to become norm, and demonize all who oppose.

but what is a child and what is an adult?
In some countries 18 year old is adult in some it is 16 or 15. Maybe someday it becomes 11. Who knows. There is no strict definition of adult.
Another question: can siblings get marriage if they love each other? Or any two consenting adults? I think they should.
