I don't consider it murder, nor do most people! To me it's like having a cancerous tumor that needs to be removed! There are already too damn many people in the world as it is. The individual and societal cost of having excess people in the world is what's far too great! If children were of such great value, there would not be even one who would be eligible for adoption. Until that time comes, abortion ought to be safe, legal, cheap and widely available!
It is mostly about abortions. I am pro choice but is the reality. As far as pre natal care and all that, medicaid covers that for low income women.
If the left really cares about Planned Parenthood let them raise the money privately or by states that support it. If they can raise millions in a few days to do bogus recounts after the election they can raise the money to pay for planned parenthood.
Seems to me that taxpayer funding of these clinics makes financial and practical sense for many reasons, not the least of which is the cost of social programs to support unwanted children.
Abortions and birth control are a small part of what PP does. Most of what they do is provide women who can't afford it, medical care. Of course, Republicans are showing that really don't care about women's health, just showing off to the anti-arbortion base.

No, it's why we need people to actually THINK, not just 'emote.' Furthermore, NONE of you have been able to prove that PPs aren't redundant and unnecessary. They exist where many more times the number of publicly-funded Family Planning/Women's Health Clinics already exist, and specifically target Black and Hispanic women who are 5 times and 2 times more likely, respectively, to have an abortion than White women. PP is a White supremacist eugenecist's dream, and here you all are defending that. Why? Because you don't think, you 'emote' without thinking.
Your tax dollars shouldn't support them, education and other planning services are a terrible solution to control unwanted pregnancies
Better just rely on charitable donations and if they can't come up with the funds then close PP and just let nature take it's course and pay for the social cost down the line.
