Funny thing is, he has a summer home near mine and I have seen him walking around town now and then. Usually, when I see a famous musician I try to strike up a conversation about music. Some are receptive, some not, but with Waters, I have no desire to talk to him. He is such a horrible human being that I can't look up to him as a musician anymore. He once played at a little bar in town, and at the time I was so upset that I missed it. Now I'm glad I did.
He's rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. A lot of talented people have their quirks. Jorma Kaukonen has a little restaurant and guitar school not far from me. For someone that has been everywhere, did everything and knew everyone you couldn't meet a nicer guy. He was happy to sign some albums for me for a school benefit. He plays for free at his restaurant.

Make sure to watch The Wizard of Oz along with it.

I love his work on Bryan Ferry's "Is You Love Strong Enough". I even did the unthinkable and bought the Legend sountrack just to get that song. I used to watch the movie just for that song (no longer have to) LOL.

That is an artist that truly loves music and his fans.

They were good. They never sell without the previous work.

Like I said, I was equally cheezed at the liberal AND conservative nonsense.

I mean, be an effin professional and do your damn job. I don't preach politics in the middle of seeing patients.

"Wait! Stop CPR. I'd like to share My ALREADY WELL-KNOWN and highly irrelevant political opinions with everyone in this room."

My mechanic or plumber or electrician doesn't stop working to stand there and give me his opinions about the election.

I mean, geezus. So disrespectful.

I sympathize with the people who paid to hear a concert and got a healthy dose of political nonsense. I had the same thing happen when I purchased tickets to see a well-known comedian last year. I had seen his show on TV and he is very funny, but he never spent too much time on politics (a joke here and there). But this night he decided to spend about half of the show making forced and unfunny jokes about Trump (before he won) and Republicans.

I went in with high expectations, but after that, I certainly won't be buying tickets to see him again.

That's cool. My daughter plays bass and I have to get her over to Jorma's place when Jack is there next. I was able to get her to see Leland Sklar. She's 15 and doesn't appreciate it now but will one day.
