War is a great distraction from the investigation.

Don't think he wouldn't stoop to it. He has no idea what he's doing.

Reason being, when you make an ultimatum and fail to carry through with it, the individual knows they have the power over you and will continue to manipulate you. Fairly applicable to most life situations.
Here's the street version:

Don't write checks your *** can't (or won't) cash.

When you threaten people, you have two choices: you back off and look weak, or you follow through, even if, in a calmer moment, you realize it's a bad idea.

I don't think we should ignore what NK is doing. I don't know what the answer is. But I'm pretty sure it's not throwing around a lot of big words that can escalate the situation before we have any strategy about how to deal with it.

In short, Trump needs to think more and talk less.

I would have preferred a bit more tact from Trump but he did not draw a line in the sand like Obama did in Syria.
Trump only said if you threaten us we will level you.

Of course it would be suicide for Kim jong to launch a nuke but how would America respond? If the missile came here we would strike but what if it hit somewhere in South Korea or Japan. What would our response be? How about the response from the world?

What scares me is that Kim jong could easily sell a nuke to a isis terrorists and they could bring it into a West coast harbor on a container ship and detonate it.

How about a WW3 where NK and Iran would team up, one destroying Seoul and the other Israel.

It is scary but I actually have more faith in Trump then if Hillary was in charge.

Miniaturized? Compared to what? Does anyone understand how silly that sounds?

ICBM payloads are typically 2,000 to 5,000 lbs.

The world economic order will not be completely destroyed and Asia will not be in ruins.

Oh, yes, you can. The fallout from a 20 kt warhead and a 450 kt warhead is the same.

That was a bad translation that the cold war press loved. He used a Russian idiomatic expression that was more along the lines of "we (meaning communism) will dance on your (capitalist) graves". Anyway, that hardly rose to what Kim is saying. Furthermore, we had diplomatic, cultural and historic relationships with Russia. There was no reason to think that Russia was about to launch a nuclear attack on us. No one thought that. Apples and oranges.

you dont know what he means anymore than anyone else does yet you go on to speculate on things in as pessimistic a way as possible, why be so negative?? Jim Acosta ? is that you ??
