Please. BLM folks have marched through libraries, restaurants, and such just to be in the face of whites who are there. They have gone out of their way to be disruptive, including blocking roads just to make their presence known.
On the hate group aspect, it is hard to see a group that has openly called for the killing of police and rioting as peaceful.
Coming into Libraries and yelling and screaming at white people is protected speach. Burning down your town over your favorite criminal getting killed is also protected speach
If they are walking around naked then yeah, I might lay a little blame their way. But a better analogy is to poke the bear over and over and it is not in a cage, yes I blame the person for getting mauled and eaten, they asked for it otherwise they would not poke the bear to see its reaction.

I mean why would a school be 100% any race in the U.S? Again the only reason Howard is 90% anything is because some people aren't okay with being a minority, and culturally they were used to most of their friends being white. Howard is only racially homogeneous because many people of other races overlook it. Their are plenty of schools just as white as Howard is black, the thing is they tend to be average schools an just have the demographics of their local area.

How embarrassing for Howard U. that people there, even administrators, see their university as turf to be defended against white high school girls wearing Trump hats. This is ghetto gang mentality. How can anyone take them seriously as an institution of higher learning?
How? For the same reason Penn State and University of Kentucky can take themselves seriously despite having had students riot over sports.

If the object of an action is to annoy (be it to wear offensive hats or to disrupt students at study) then I call foul. If it is to express a point of view (demonstration, within the appropriate parameters and with permissions etc.) then fine.

I don't want to litigate here every misstep by BLM of which there may be a number but, as another poster pointed out, with the girls maintaining they were just out for a wee bite to eat with the tourist areas nowhere near Howard University this particular instance seems to fall into the "foul" category.
