You are not hearing me. We have armed guards in schools already. This proposal to add them is silly because we already have them.

It's more "let's ignore the actual problem" type of thinking.

The reality is, if kids didn't have easy access to guns, kids would be shooting kids way less often.

Have you considered the possibility that the guards may not be enough or have enough/proper training?

So, train them better. I still doubt it'll fix this problem, but it surely cannot hurt.

I would like some of whatever you are smoking, please.
There was a time in America where kids would bring guns to school. There were classes on gun maintenance, where you learned to disassemble and clean your guns. Also kids brought guns to school because after school they would go shooting right away, range or hunting.

Some of the people who did this are still alive today.

If we have total gun ban, no school children will die of massacre?

My first thought when I saw the post about the lack of hijackings since 9/11 (and the reason for the lack thereof) was to wonder how long it had been since a hijacking took place in the US before 9/11. Serious question. Any care to take a guess?

Nobody is arguing against that, is there?

You people are saying we don't need guards at all.

Putting words in other people's mouths is bad form. Now, if you make it harder for unbalanced kids to get at daddy's arsenal, would the numbers be likely to increase or decrease?

Apparently, we don't live in that society anymore, and handing guns to all the kids won't bring that society back.

And so you have planned out how to best protect yourself legally should one of your kids go nutso and commit mass murder? Yeah, right.
