The key there is AMERINDIAN. He matched her to Mexican, Peruvian, and Colombian DNA (AmerIndian.) Even that match was so small it was almost non-existent.
Her family tree was traced as far back as 1824 and they found only people who identified as white. She did have one ancestor who was born in "Indian Territory" which means it was not a State at the time. I would suspect that is where her family's confusion is from. As I said before, my maternal grandfather told everyone Winston Churchill was his 3rd cousin. When I actually traced the family tree back, the connection was in the 16th century. Family heritage is sometimes a bit fuzzy when handed-down the generations.
These days we have the Internet databases and DNA to test things. All evidence thus far shows that Elizabeth Warren has no family tree Native Americans in it AND she has between .098% and 1.6% Mexican, Peruvian, or Colombian DNA. The average European-American has .18% of that same DNA.
Elizabeth is no more Native American than I and shares just about as much of Winston Churchill's DNA as I do.
The inherited segment wasn't as small as you're stating certainly not almost non-existent @ 13.4cM . I have 12cM shared segments that I have determined through records that the shared ancestors were in the mid 1700's. Keep in mind she inherited only about 25% of her grandmother's DNA I've seen amounts from 21%-27%. It is completely plausible she inherited only 1/5 of her grandmother's total DNA and not inheriting the bulk of the Amerindian portion. European-Americans in Oklahoma have much higher amounts of Amerindian DNA that the Average European-American.
Who the hell cares? We all know she claimed it to get in to Harvard. If she's 96%+ white, why wouldn't she put that? We all know her motivations and no amount of grandstanding changes any of that. If she really wants to be President, she needs to start with an apology and go from there, but it's too late now that she's trying to weasel out of her lie.

Her grandmother was white as was her grandmother's parents. This has already been researched and debunked.

We will explore Ms. Warren's ancestry through one of her lines and then discuss a cousin through that lineage, like they discussed Deen's cousin who died in the Civil War.
Pauline Louise Reed, the mother of Ms. Warren, was the child of Harry G. Reed and Bethania "Hannie" Crawford. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on February 14, 1912. She was found on the 1920 US Census living in Hickory Ridge, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma with her parents and siblings, race listed as white. She was found on the 1930 US Census living in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma with her parents, race listed as white. She married Don Herring on January 2, 1932 in Hughes County, Oklahoma. She was found on the 1940 US Census living in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma with her husband and children, race listed as white. She died July 18, 1995, listed as white on death certificate.
Harry Gunn Reed, the grandfather (recently called “pappaw”) of Ms. Warren, was the child of Joseph H. Reed and Charity Louise Gorman. He was born in Mount Vernon, Jefferson County, Illinois, on October 1, 1872. He was found on the 1880 US Census living in Freeburg, St. Clair County, Illinois with his parents and siblings; race listed as white. He married Bethania “Hannie Crawford in Sebastian County, Arkansas, on June 2, 1893. He was found on the 1910 US Census living in Muskogee County, Oklahoma with his wife and children; race listed as white. He was found on the 1920 US census living in Hickory Ridge, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma with his wife and children; race listed as white. He was found on the 1930 US Census living in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma, with his wife and daughter, Pauline; race listed as white. He was found on the 1940 US Census living in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma, with his wife; race listed as white. He died December 23, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, listed as white on death certificate. He was buried Wetumka Cemetery; Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma.
Joseph H. Reed, the great grandfather of Ms. Warren, was the child of Rev. Joseph H. Reed and Eliza Bell. He was born in Ohio, about 1837. He was found on the 1850 US Census living in Mount Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois with his widowed mother and siblings; race listed as white. He married Charity Louise Gorman before 1860. He was found on the 1860 US Census living in Township 1S, Range 4W, Washington County, Illinois with his wife; race listed as white. He lived in Bridgeport, Washington County, Illinois in 1861. He served in the US Civil War with the 49 Illinois US Infantry, Company I, enlisting at Ashley, Illinois. He was found on the 1870 US Census living in Salt River, Knox County, Missouri with his wife; his oldest son, Everett; and Henry Dutton; race listed as white. He was found on the 1880 US Census living in Freeburg, St. Clair County, Illinois with his wife and sons; race listed as white. He died February13, 1898 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, service paid for by CB Curtis and EB Reed (Everett Binns Reed, his son.) He is buried in Leard Cemetery, Pocola, Leflore County, Oklahoma.
Rev. Joseph H. Reed, the great great grandfather of Ms. Warren, was the child of Charles Reed and Sarah Nail. He was born in Salem County, New Jersey, June 17,1793. He was married to Eliza Bell. He served in the War of 1812. He moved to Mansfield, Ohio in 1822. He was a Justice of the Peace in Richland County, Ohio in 1823. In 1839, he obtained land in Richland County, Illinois. He died in Richland County, Illinois on December27, 1847 and was buried in Calhoun Cemetery, Richland County, Illinois. *Notes – He suggested the name for Richland County, Illinois based on Richland County, Ohio where he had lived previously. He was also a member of the Illinois State Legislature. In 1841, he testified for his father, Rev. Charles Reed, when Charles applied for a Revolutionary War Pension.
Rev. Charles Reed, the great great great grandfather of Ms. Warren, was the child of William and Sarah Reed. He was born in Cumberland County, New Jersey November 12, 1760. He lived in Salem County, New Jersey in 1781 and was drafted into service. He later lived in Dorchester County, Maryland. He married Sarah Neal/Nail on April 20, 1785. He moved to Richland County, Ohio in 1829. He was an early minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Newville, Ohio. In the fall of 1838, he moved to Lawrence County, Illinois to serve the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died December 5, 1843 and was buried in the Calhoun Cemetery in Richland County, Illinois.
There is even more proof beyond that (including one of her ancestors claiming to be Indian to get free land thinking the Choctaw wouldn't have records.)
