A little twink like Davidson leading the idiots in the audience in laughing at an ex- Navy Seal who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and who lost an eye, is rich.

I was, too. He's said a lot of stupid things but I would still support him over any democrat any day of the week.
I remember after DT got the nomination and kept putting his foot in his mouth, saying to a friend, "he's going to lose the election if he doesn't learn to keep his mouth shut!" I was very upset over that. I was totally surprised election day.
I am not hard line politics. I have always been an Independent, that is what voters in Massachusetts were/are called that vote for whomever they like. I like to listen to both sides and then decide. Or all sides, I should say, if there are more than two candidates.
I blame the parents for raising this brat, but it’s ultimately up to Dan Crenshaw to decide how he feels. He says he does not like to see veterans wounds used in bad jokes. We owe him this respect and a whole lot more.
Davidson is a drug addict and an obnoxious member of SNL. He's NOT ever funny, particularly now.
I watched the show and was immediately annoyed and even upset with his comments....
OMG, no kidding. I just now watched the link. If anyone even thinks that he was making fun of his eye missing then you're looking to be offended. Seriously, he started out saying "now, this guy's kinda cool....he looks like a hit man in a porno movie..." then goes on to say that "I know he lost his eye in a war or something..." He didn't disparage him for being handicapped, didn't say he "didn't like people that got captured" which is AWFUL. He poked fun at several people and threw a democrat in there for good measure and pretty much made him sound like a disgusting perv.
This is a reasonable post.
I think people have been through combat have a very morbid humor. It is obvious the SEAL himself is not offended. I saw wounded veterans making fun of each other at VA hospital all the time.
"Hey, if you MARSOC are really that quick, you won't lose a leg." this is how they make fun of each other. It is fun to watch, but it is also sad at the same time.
I don't think this dude needs to lose a job, but it looks like he has some work to do. His jokes are not funny, witty, or original. It is just ... well... weird.
