so I heard something about this that boarders on the unbelievable. I mean if its true the irony here is stunning.

evidently Millers father was a first responder that was killed on 9/11 responding to the Twin Towers attack.

the politician he mocked lost his eye during the fighting in Afghanistan trying to bring Al Qaeda to justice.....

that's kind of horrible if its true.

Totally understand. Not everyone's humor is the same.

He is requested to come and do shows for the handicapped. They LOVE him.

When I first saw him I was like "ohhhh, this is not ok" and then I got it, and could enjoy it.

It's true -- and Davidson claims that finding humor in dark, tragic places is his thing.

It wasn't funny.

It was a bad joke at the expense of a man who gave up so much for his country.

Never a good idea.

So we are 14 pages into this discussion and so far the one and only justification that I've seen from the left is that these comments were acceptable because Donald Trump has also said some pathetic things in the past about John McCain or other military veterans. So the only justification you guys can come up with is to say that because Trump (a man who you consider a terrible human and a pathetic President) said some horrible things it's acceptable for a completely unrelated person to attack an injured US Veteran.

Am I wrong? Can any of you come up with a way to justify these comments without talking about Trump?

Well … its not right .. but he is a comedian say compared to, the President mocking a vet that spent years in a POW camp or the president mocking the parents of a vet KIA. I might expect it from one but not the other.

Hypocrites. Tell the right how awful they are for what they supposedly think, say how horrid Trump is for what he says... then turn around and completely excuse this. Careful, lefties - your two favorite words are now your undeniable ball & chain: deflection and whataboutism.

There's a lot I don't like about the right & Trump....but it can't come close to the sewer sludge the left has become. The left truly doesn't care that the world sees them not as individuals...but as a collective, oozing mass of hypocritical noise.

As a classical liberal (conservative), I think he is vulgar, immature and frankly, don't find him funny. I also found the joke disgusting, but as a comedian, he should be able to say whatever he wants. I can choose to not watch SNL if I don't like it.

Is there any low that left-wingers won't resort to? How much lower can they go?
