We have a gun law.
It is called the 2nd Amendment.
It instructs the Government to not even attempt it, or face Concord & Lexington all over again.

"Why no gun laws are never followed?"

Sorry, but I'm struggling to make sense of that one as written. I'm not sure that's "plain English," but either way, I'm generally not inclined to think in terms of absolutes.

Unconstitutional Statutory legislation is your duty to disobey.
You may not have anything to enforce your word, "NO", but I damn sure do.

Be nice to comment about something I don't know if possible, or we end up just wasting more time posting our favorite lines as if they are meaningful to others. Again, I have no trouble reading or understanding the 2A.

Meanwhile, I think your longing for the "good old days" ala Concord & Lexington are showing again. Those days are long gone my friend, whether we like it or not...

Specifics please...

I know there have been lots of people who take issue with all kinds of laws for all variety of reasons. People who don't believe they should pay taxes, for example, and they have all their legally based rational for believing what they do. Perhaps you have your opinion about such laws too, but I think specifics might help given so many varied opinions from all sorts of Americans who seem to think they understand all things Constitution and legalities better than everyone else.

Back up the bus here please! Again...

There are COUNTLESS tests of the law that have been argued in our legal system and gone many different ways! Upheld, overturned, sent back to the courts. Not sure where you got your handy little list but it's nothing in terms of the total of laws that have been overturned or deemed unconstitutional. I've never argued otherwise! Women's suffrage, civil rights, segregation, prohibition..., hello?

Same with gun control laws. Some have passed, some overturned, some get nowhere. Of course! What on Earth are you arguing or just what do you think I'm arguing?

What I asked of you is what law(s) currently in existence today are you referring to that should not be obeyed and why? Specifically with respect to guns and/or gun control. NOT what Obama may have done or not done! That's another subject altogether, but about Obama too. Even a lawyer-become-POTUS is going to test these waters just like most presidents do. It's inevitable and why they call it perhaps the most powerful position in the world! The law is not an exact science. Even the supreme court ruling noted in your first link had TWO SUPREME COURT JUSTICES arguing otherwise, as Obama seemed to interpret the law (his legal counsel to be more precise).

Seems you've gone off base yet again, arguing who knows what, but there is no argument about how our legal system works (or doesn't) with me anyway. I'm glad to entertain the legality of any laws currently on the books, however, even though I'm no lawyer. I can usually tell if a legal argument holds water in any case, but again I rely heavily on what the courts ultimately decide, by way of legal argument. Emphasis on ultimately...

About your list, I was curious who came up with it. Looks all official and all, but it isn't. Hard to tell from the link you provide, but doing a little further digging, it seems to have come from this guy, Timothy McClellan, back in 2016. You one of his followers?

He also tweeted this about Obama back in 2014.

"He is not only a radical islamic muslin but he is also aknown communist and that his how he became president so fast. His communist ties go very deep. From the South side of Chicago to the Whitehouse. Not only the public communist helped him but the ones incongress did as well. This is the biggest hoax the World has ever seen."

Why am I not surprised? When people get behind people like this, you know they're capable of believing anything. Lord have mercy...

I'm surprised this story didn't make much national news, I wonder if the fires have sorta stolen the thunder from this.

12 people i think it was were murdered by a sick twisted guy and it barely makes a dent in the media? Are we that used to this sort of thing????

Still curious...

I had a closer look at your list and some are real duzzies, but this is one of my favorites!

"Government can seize anything." Love it!

I just had to look into this one.

Executive Order 13603

The National Defense Resources Preparedness executive order (Executive Order 13603) is an order of the United States' President signed by President Barack Obama on March 16, 2012. The purpose of this executive order is to delegate authority and address national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950. Executive Order 13603 provides the framework and authority for the allocation or appropriation of resources, materials, and services to promote national defense.

A number of viral emails claimed that the executive order "creates martial law." Similar claims were repeated by Texas congresswoman Kay Granger of Texas in a constituent newsletter; she later retracted her statements. In reality, the order updated long-existing directives that have been issued ever since the Truman administration. Such presidential directives update the resources covered under the Defense Production Act, which was enacted in the 1950s and is reauthorized by Congress every few years. The act "allows presidents to delegate authority to various federal departments and agencies.

Okay! Enough of yet another great example of layman expert opinion about legal matters! And enough of more wasted time for me, but entertaining! I've got to give you that!
