No, Trump is to blame for making such an idiotic statement and an even bigger idiot for saying Mexico will pay for it. Yet amazingly his supporters still believe what he says.

He said he'd be proud to shut down the government "over border security". How convenient for you and yours to leave that last part out. Typical though.

I'm glad that this was a public meeting so the rest of the country can see where Pelosi and Schumer stand on border security.
How convenient for you and yours you constantly leave out the part where Trump said on multiple occasions, even phonetically saying it, that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. He did not phonetically state Mexico is going to reimburse the US for the wall.

Ahh you didn't hear her say -- You don't have the votes. She did.

And she's not the only one saying it.

She was making a point.

Before the Democrats give concessions and allow the wall -- prove the House Republicans support him.

We heard him say he's proud to shut it down over border security.

But the wall isn't the end all and only way to secure the border.

By focusing only on it -- he's leaving huge holes in the system.

Trump says in 10 minutes he can get the votes. That's not a whole lot of time to prove he has the votes....and it has to be done anyways....so do it now. Prove to the world he has the votes and then he can pull Schumer in and try to force a deal.

In other news:
'Mexico will NEVER pay for a wall,' country's president tells Trump

So since that went over like a lead brick, Trump is going to hold his breath until he turns blue.

Trump, winning friends and influencing people, like a good business man should. ha

Mexico is smart to not pay for a wall especially under Trump. Trump supporters are gullible enough to believe Mexico would pay for it because Trump said so.

Some observations from this pic :

- Wildly unqualified man-child.
- Inanimate object put into the room through no input of its own, staring blankly out into the air without saying anything.
- Bust of Martin Luther King Jr.
- Two grown-ups.

Bud...Chuckie and Pelosi shouldn't have to give Trump a thing. Until January Republicans controls the House and the Senate he should have the votes.

Never left it out at all. All I did was to provide a link on how he plans on making Mexico pay for the wall but he never said they'd write a check up front for it or when he'd be able to implement his plan. How convenient for you anti-wall people to ignore the fact that even if the taxpayer had to pay for the wall it would still be a lot cheaper than continuing to foot the bill for over $100 billion year for the social costs of illegal immigration. So just what's your argument about the money then? You'd be saving money.
