I'd have voted no, but I don't think anyone is going to let the government be shut down that long.

I hope we set a record for longest shutdown. I love shutdowns.

Democrats aren’t keeping anything closed. The House and Senate both agreed on a budget; it’s Trump who proudly shut down the government. He campaigned on getting Mexico to pay for his wall; if he can’t keep his word, no reason we should be stuck with the bill.

Exactly, If it wasn't for Trump getting his butt slammed by Coulter and Rush, the bipartisan agreement would have passed. But the little baby got his feelings hurt so he shut down the government. Trump proudly proclaimed to own the shutdown and we are holding him to it.

Just like they are running FEAR stories in the UK due to a no-deal BRexit.

Why are taxpayers footing the bill for "non-essential" employees who are not mission-critical?? Seems we could save some money by keeping most of the government shuttered so we aren't paying people to do needless jobs
You do know that Trumps Secret Service people aren't getting paid along with about 400,000+ other people but they are still doing their jobs.
