Trump was talking about doing that long before they even said anything. If he changed his mind on signing any deal it's because the Democrats wouldn't give him the $5 billion that he requested instead they only offered a little over $1 billion. There is nothing blown out of proportion when thousands of illegal aliens are still breaching our border every month along with caravans with thousands marching towards our border or was that just a figment of our imagination? Trump didn't need to fire up his base the facts speak for themselves and have for years now. There is no "irrational" fear of the above it is real problem. The Democrats will never support any amount of border security. They want open borders, as their acts have proven. Trump should guarantee his re-election by fighting for U.S. citizens over illegal aliens.

Allowing ILLEGAL ALIENS into our country is just that: ILLEGAL! Plus, it's an insult and a slap in the face to all of those who immigrated to our country legally and followed the laws.
Anyone who wants ILLEGALS to trespass and invade our country validates they hate the United States and have no respect for it's citizens. If anyone invaded their home they would be calling 911 ASAP and demanding justice. . . yet, those same people are wanting our country to be invaded. They need to prove their love of ILLEGALS and run to the border to invite them into their homes, give them free room and board, free medical, free clothing, free transportation, etc., etc.
