So, when they say "no," to the very things they were proponents for, Trump knows they are still playing politics and it's a waste of time to talk to these scumbags.

They are saying NO to a WALL that even Trump cannot outline how it would work; where it would work; where it will be; what it will be made of.

WTF kind of proposal is that?

WHAT has he done with the money he got LAST YEAR - has he put that toward a wall? No. He used it to build ridiculous prototypes to keep his base happy.

NOW we have seen just how ineffective those prototypes are.

Why didn't the Republicans build the wall when they were in power? The Dems only came into office one week ago. Answer: Not even the Republicans wanted the wall. The GOP rejected funding on the wall even before the midterms when they were the majority and Trump went along with their decision. So don't pin the blame on the Dems. The blame falls squarely on Trump.

Its a fight of globalism vs nationalism

You see if theres a wall people have to ask for asylum in mexico. If there is no wall but are other forms of border protection (drones etc) the illegals get to request asylum on usa land. This starts the clock on them being released in the usa. It is all about globalist goals of many in both parties to have a global government.
Agree, but I think it's more about importing more Democrat voters since they are losing blacks.

Trump accepted responsibility for starting it, his responsibility to end it.

Exactly! And trump pushed ahead now because he can somehow convince his low information base that it is the democrats fault.

That's NOT negotiating - that's throwing down the gauntlet - and then taking your ball and going home.

This is ALL ON TRUMP.

McConnell passed the bill Trump said he would sign - and then Trump decided he couldn't fight Limbaugh and Coulter.

Limbaugh and Coulter are nobodies - they were elected to nothing, they represent no one.

Trump is a coward. He had the legislation HE ASKED FOR - and then CHANGED HIS MIND.

The man is a wuss.

So Pelosi was wiling to negotiate by saying "no we are not going to agree to the wall"? Huh? You call that negotiating?

Oh stop with the BS that Trump based his decision on what some outsiders had to say about it. So sick of you lefties BS I could puke!

No, Trump never had what he asked for so stop with those lies also.

Off to my dust bin you go. Sick of the lies, spin and parroting over and over in here by you people.

The process is that spending bills begin in the legislative branch, not in the executive branch. People who are ignorant of the powers laid out in the Constitution don't understand how things work. Thanks for demonstrating that.

Perhaps for some of those backing him, however, Trump is not nearly that sophisticated. It is red meat for his base and a big ego feed for his already enormous ego.

He's already admitted as much.
