So if Trump can go around Congress for the wall, get ready for the next D president to go full force on confronting the national epidemic of gun violence.

I didn’t want an expansion of executive power, but you cons seem ok with it to further your pet projects. You’ll have to bear that position in mind when the shoe is on the other foot.
Ok got a question. If the Democrats are ready to ban one of many kinds and sources of weapons, what is their plan to address why so many act out on violence?

Because seems to me if there are so many murders happening the big question and root of the question is WHY are too many acting out on it and what is the Democrat plan to address this?

Motor vehicle deaths are the most prevalent. Ban motor vehicles.

Democrats aren't, if they go after anything it will be some form of Universal Healthcare, something which the majority of Americans want. Win/Win.

Many people live their entire lives without ever owning a gun, none the worse for wear. Not true of automobiles, you would be hard pressed to find someone who has never used one.

Apples/oranges.

A disproportionate number of gun-related violent crimes happen in inner-city minority areas.

Are Democrats willing to target these areas specifically? Somehow, I doubt it.

You must not live in a big City cause there are lots of people that don't own a car. They even have entire highrise complexes that cater to those that don't have one.

Gun deaths are the third leading cause of death of children in the United States.

More regulations in the form of enhanced gun education for parents, backed up by unannounced spot checks to ensure parents are properly securing their firearms would be a good start.

More regulations on legal gun ownership will save lives.
Hahahahaha

Make suicide illegal. Or what.... they get the death penalty?

The real national emergency is the ATF being handcuffed, and the law made that prevents them from being able to efficiently digitize and trace the serials and names of the owners and their guns. It sho uld be just like cars.
The national emergency is also the gun shops that sell guns on the street behind the stores to the criminals.
The gun show loophole is also a national emergency. Gun shows from non vetted sellers need to end.

I said use a car. That would include taxis, ubers, limos, rentals and catching a ride in a friend's car.
