Yep. They won't do anything about it. They think stop and frisk is racist, even though the demographic that commits the highest percentage of gun crimes and homicides is well-known. That's sad because that means too many still needlessly die. But they just smugly let it continue to happen.

You must not live in a big City cause there are lots of people that don't own a car. They even have entire highrise complexes that cater to those that don't have one.
Yep. Just TRY to find a condo/apartment with a parking space available. And even if you manage to find one, a parking space on the building's private property rents for anywhere from $500-$1,000/month. That's in addition to your rent or mortgage payment.
It has taken far more lives than all people any illegal aliens have killed or hurt.

Motor vehicles are regulated, you have to have a license to operate one, and it can be revoked if you abuse that license. You have to carry insurance to operate one, and you are liable for damage that it causes to others.
I think that most (not all) people would agree with you that this would be a good start to addressing the issue of Gun Violence WITHOUT banning guns.
Nope. That violates the 2nd Amendment's "shall not be infringed" requirement. Driving a car is a privilege. Keeping and bearing arms, uninfringed, is a Constitutional Right.
I'm not even going to go into farm vehicles and race cars that are never even driven on public roadways. They don't have to be registered. And you don't have to have a license to drive them unless you're competing in NHRA or NASCAR events.

Or, they don't even have one at all. I was rear-ended on one of my motorcycles by an illegal alien (Filipino) that had no driver's license and no insurance. He spoke no English. Bent the frame on my bike. It had to be rebuilt on a new frame on which the factory stamped the same original VIN. The illegal alien had borrowed a "friend's" car. Luckily the insurance on that car was valid and they paid for all the damages.
