We already jump through hoops....unless you are talking about current criminals...then how are you going to make them jump?

Here's one: Guns and ammo can only be sold from one specially licensed store per state, M-F. If that means you have to drive hundreds of miles and take a day off work, too bad, no one is taking away your right to own a gun.
Just like abortion, there will be people who obtain guns and ammo illegally, irrelevant and won't change the law.

Abortion isn't a Constitutional Right. The words abortion or health care appear nowhere in the Constitution.

So if Trump can go around Congress for the wall, get ready for the next D president to go full force on confronting the national epidemic of gun violence.

HER statement on this, makes very clear, in case we didn't know, just what the Dems have in store for legal gun owners in this country.
Because they've chosen not to do a damn thing about urban areas, where people have been killing themselves for decades, with guns and ammo purchased and traded out of car trunks.
This country is being INVADED because there's no border control--exactly what the left want, BTW. Finally, someone has the guts to address it.
Leave it to Pelosi and her ilk to counter an attempt to protect our borders and citizens from illegal aliens, with a threat to restrict the rights of Americans.

LMAO You mean like the "Cuomo Clip?" That's what salivating Dems (who know nada about guns) called it. Actually, Andrew Cuomo instituted a limit on magazine capacity--which sheriffs across the state refused to enforce, and two federal courts declared UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
What epidemic ? Firearms violence has been on the decline. If you are talking about the stuff that happens in the inner cities, hell yeah , let's get that taken care of. How do you propose getting the guns from the criminals ?
As far as the law abiding firearms owners, we are protected by the Second Amendment. Good luck trying to go after that.

Here's 3 suggestions, let's start with good parenting, going after black market gun dealers, where criminals obtain their guns, and by keeping criminals where they belong, in prisons instead of letting them out early before they serve their full sentence. Deport illegals who don't respect our laws, and keep them out of our country by making it impossible for them to come across the southern border. On that thought, this is what typically happens, an illegal who gets arrested for shoplifting or other minor criminal offenses, gets deported, manages to come across the border again and commits more serious criminal acts, including those with guns obtained through illegal means.
Punish the offenders, not us decent law-abiding gun owners.

Not talking about taking away rights, talking about increased regulation for the greater good, to enhance safety.
Gun regulations are legal, it is legal to enforce them.......and it is LEGAL to add more.
