No. He deserves it (by comments like the one about CA) while the people of California have done nothing to deserve the disrespect of the president.

Trump's only criteria for judging people or groups of people or states is that they love him. A narcissist only values adoration. The people of California, although diverse, generally don't support Trump, therefore they fail his test. They become a "disgrace" because there is not love and support for him. His condemnation of California is totally expected, and is further proof of his incompetence and failure as a leader. True presidents don't condemn and dismiss any state any more than true parents don't condemn and dismiss any of their children. Opposition to Trump is a positive measure of character.

I can't think of one other. The illegals and poor get all the benefits while the middle class is bled dry.
Of course you can't think of any, you live in Tennessee. What do you know about California? Probably nothing, other than what Fox News and Trump say about it, which is mainly B.S..

The only thing we have left going for us is our good climate in many areas and most people can't afford to live in those areas but have moved inland to the desert where it's hot and miserable in the summer.
Sorry..didn’t mean to be mean..

It is still paradise where we live...but am glad we are retired, cuz the traffic does suck...

We have no homeless in our streets

13 miles from ocean

Our second home is in the desert..yes you are right about heat in the summer! We close up house June 1 and return mid oct..but we go back and forth about every two weeks..

We do miss the tax changes, luckily it does not effect our standard of living..

Good luck

Tough love may be appropriate for a child. But the analogy really ends there. All presidents should regard all the states with appropriate respect. In fact, presidents should make it clear that they are advocates for and supportive of all the people of the country, not just their "base." Trump has failed miserably at this. To me, he cares not at all for the people of the US. If they don't love him, they are useless.
