I laugh at the priorities of the Loony Left. A state doesn't have feelings. Hurt feelings are so much worse than high crime, increased cost of living and health hazards. Right.
If you were living in CA why would you continue to vote for a party that has controlled the state for decades and watch its decline? If you had common sense you'd vote for Trump to send a strong message to the Demwits to shape up or ship out.
If high crime rates, high taxes, and quality of life issues are priorities for Trump, he could have gotten his point across without referring to an entire state as a disgrace. And California isn't the only state struggling with quality of life issues. Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan.
If I lived in California, I still would never vote for Trump being a Black man.
When California was Republican, Los Angeles was experiencing runaway murder rates and extreme gang issues. Same with Oakland. Life wasn't good for everybody in California. If you lived in Oakland, East L.A., South Central, or Bayview-Hunters Point district of San Francisco, life was certainly horrible.
And right now, Alabama is run by Republicans. Alabama has one of the highest murder rates in the USA. Alabama is rated one of the worst states in terms of education. Oklahoma has a very Republican state but its cities are dealing with street gangs and Oklahoma has a high violent crime rate. Tulsa ranks in the top 10 for rape. Oklahoma is also struggling with drug abuse issues.
Political party isn't the main determinant in everything.
yeah b/c creating sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants, many who are members of drug cabals and gangs that murder people, made California safer.
the people who commit crimes in the south generally live in the huge majority Democrat areas. Same true with the schools with a lot of failing students.
This will be next week’s source of progressive outrage now that the Baltimore debacle is cooling off.
The week before Baltimore it was Trump’s “go back” comments.
The week before that it was the Mueller hearing.
It’s been like this for three years straight now: weekly groupthink meltdowns over instances of Trump still breathing.
Mainstream media colluding with Dems to keep the donations rolling in by maintaining a high level of hysteria among their zombies. You'd think those suckers would have figured out they were being manipulated by now. It must be true that they are Addicted to Outrage. It's like a drug to them.
To some people, the only "real America" is the rural south/rural midwest. And mainly areas with few racial minorities. Trump's comment only drives more wedges in society. On the other hand, we're already divided. President Trump is just telling many within his support base what they want to hear. He is saying how they feel. 15 years ago, I couldn't imagine a President insulting another city or state.
Make America Great Again--I guess that starts w/ insulting American cities and states, which people live in who he governs. He governs all of us, in case he forgot. Which city or state will be next on T's target?
Compared to whom? Compared to what political figure would you consider him a disgrace? What has he personally done to disgrace the country? To me, as an American, I go about my day to day and live my life without any ramifications of this so called disgrace to our country you so speak of.
Trump just can’t keep his mouth shut. He’s addicted to offending people just as much as people are addicted to being offended by him.
He says stupid bombastic things over and over again, and people spend entire days on the internet repeating what a rude and hurtful guy he is, over and over again

To people who are harping on whether or not what Trump said is true or is racist it is fake outrage, but for those of us who see that neither of those is relevant it isn't fake outrage, because what we see as outrageous is that it is unpresidential and 'punching down. Those two points make Cummings' actions irrelevant because bring up Cummings' actions is a false equivalency. It's a false equivalency because Cummings isn't the President, and Trump is the President.
