I'd have to look at the record of how things have gone in their states under their watch.
Population change
Crime rate
Homelessness
Job growth
Taxes
Regulations
Are the states children protected from predators that would sexually mutilate them?
Are schools allowed to have child predators in classrooms/school facilities? Such as men aroused by wearing women's clothes, with an audience of children
What state respects their citizens civil rights, particularly in terms of gun ownership and carry?
California: Population loss, homeless explosion, other QoL issues, along with a $32 billion deficit (and counting, it'll be higher).
Florida: Massive population gain, no/low taxes, budget surplus, etc etc etc.
As for content on character, DeSantis wins hands down. It's not even debatable. Gavin is an uber wealthy SF elite, grew up with privilege with political connections. Didn't follow his own mandates during Covid.
Newsome hands done...he's a real compassionate leader...not a bully w/ terrible ideas
Not a bully?
He sure did bully small business owners around and kids/schools and the rest of us Californians during the Covid years, while keeping his wineries and vineyards exempt, while dining indoors, maskless and not social distancing.
Newsome's "ideas" are quite literally the very definition of "terrible". In fact, the phrase "certifiably insane" may be more appropriate.
Yeah, but the Democrats will say it's Newsom's turn! He's done nothing, but it's his turn! LOL
After all, he's a white male with great hair, very wealthy, lived a very privileged lifestyle, not really living in the real world. The Dems fought against this character Bigly with Trump and will now likely go All-In with the same character of Newsom.
It is funny that Donald and Gavin got along great. Gavin loved Trump during Covid. The two were smitten kittens.
Gavin is the perfect candidate for the Dems to nominate/slip in when Joe "gracefully bows out after a life of serving our nation."

It's not even debatable at this point.
Well, too bad for you that DeSantis and his numbers for the Republican nomination are plummeting.
His million dollar donors are fast losing faith in him, as they realize he's a goofy, awkward and tempermental little man, who is resentful and has a short fuse.
Nationally, very very few are buying what he's sold to people in Florida.
DeSantis has really hurt Florida's people, and he is seriously misguided.

DeSantis plumetteing means that Trump is pulling away. How is that bad or me? I voted for Trump Twice!
I would vote for DeSantis for Prez, but it's not "his turn". He'll be around next time, for sure, if you know politics.
Btw, should politics, be re-branded to politix to be all inclusive, LOL!
Think Newsom would listen to others but RonnieD is arrogant and will trip over his own feet with that hate. Don’t think God is on his side at all.
