I am a Florida people. What exactly has DeSantis done that hurt me?
California: Population loss, homeless explosion, other QoL issues, along with a $32 billion deficit (and counting, it'll be higher).
Florida: Massive population gain, no/low taxes, budget surplus, etc etc etc.
As for content on character, DeSantis wins hands down. It's not even debatable. Gavin is an uber wealthy SF elite, grew up with privilege with political connections. Didn't follow his own mandates during Covid.

DeSantis allowing Florida businesses to reopen earlier during COVID (compared to most states) saved many small businesses which in South Florida are largely latino run.
Newsom meanwhile has effectively run California into the ground, but he's had a lot of help from local Soros backed DA and some crazy mayors.
The dude causing a middle class exodus destroying the state or homeboy that won re-election by 20 points and who's state is welcoming in people by the thousands.

I’m not wealthy, religious, or a Republican. I suppose you could call me white, though I have nearly as much Native American in my family tree as I do Caucasian. It’s funny that with all the bashing you do of DeSantis I’ve yet to see you actually back any of it up with facts.
