When your state is massively overpopulated, population loss might not be such a bad thing.

Florida has a far higher population density than California.

Im not so sure this is true, got a link?

I can see you probably haven't spent much time on the 405, 91, 10, or the 5 freeways. You can stand in the front of the Santa Monica pier and drive about 90 miles east and still be be surrounded by urban development.

Ain't buying the Florida is denser in population than CA without some proof.

Population density of Florida is 353.4 people per square mile,
California is 251.3/sq mi

Desantis at least sounds like he is Pro America and it’s citizens. I don’t care for any official who is pro illegal immigrants.
If we the citizens are paying taxes, you should be working on making our lives better, not some illegal.

It seems like Miami's population dropped from 2020-2021, probably because many foreign residents could not (or did not want) to travel during the pandemic. However, by 2022, those numbers not only recovered but grew.

Anyways, Miami is a small subsection of Florida. Florida has gained a lot more residents than it lost as evidenced by the property values soaring.

Meanwhile, property values in California are really hit or miss since Newsom has taken office.

Exactly. My once little town has been invaded. They are ploughing down trees and farmland to put up developments which does not make me happy at all. The people that might be leaving are people who can no longer afford to live here due to skyrocketing rents and home owners insurance. It's supply and demand and weather. Nothing to do with our governor except for maybe the fact that he made the state highly desirable during the blue state Covid lockdowns.

I would much rather have DeSantis vs Newson than Trump vs Biden. I like DeSantis' positions much more overall. But it would be an interesting battle. I watched Newsom on Hannity. He did a good job.
