Summary: Recent studies show homosexuals have a substantially greater risk of suffering from a psychiatric problems than do heterosexuals. We see higher rates of suicide, depression, bulimia, antisocial personality disorder, and substance abuse. This paper highlights some new and significant considerations that reflect on the question of those mental illnesses and on their possible sources.

Of course they suffer from depression because they are not the norm. They try to fit in. Stupid post.

As for STDs, just think of two guys together because of their high testosterones. However, I don't fault them at all. It's in the man's nature to be more sexually aroused. I bet if you get the stats for lesbians, the curve would fall steeply.

Yeah when it comes to STDs, Gay men top the list, but not when it comes to the other psycho-social mental problems listed, higher rates of suicide, depression, bulimia, antisocial personality disorder, and substance abuse, the Lesbians are probably equal to Gay men in those afflictions.

Yeah, the constant threat of beatings and having your rights taken away will do that to a person.
No big surprise.

Well, duh! When you are part of a group that is hated, and told when growing up how disgusting homosexuals are. That you are a pedophile, despite the fact that homosexuals and pedophiles by definition are 2 different things, yes you are going to have some issues.

It's pretty incredible, isn't it? They've used a metaphorical baseball bat to hit gay people over the head time and time again over the decades, and then blame gays for having emotional and psychological problems!

It reminds me of the old days when if a woman was raped, people would say, "Well, she was probably asking for it."

Yeah. Blame the victim. What a joke.
