Lots of ad hominems from "troglodytes". Wow, I didn't know the reactionaries here were so well entrenched and into groupthink.

Come on guys, stick to the subject, the scientific study that is the root of the thread. Don't be some uneducated knee-jerk deniers. People come to CD to find educated opinion. If you are unwilling to contribute to the subject of the thread, then kindly don't troll.

Yeah. Blame the victim. What a joke.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???

It is not the fault of the heterosexual majority that some people turn out to be homosexual and have obvious mental conflict with the situation. It is not anyone's fault that homos have problems with what is a full-blown abnormal sexual orientation. Gays should be less selfish and stop expecting everyone else to deal with their issues. If I was born with a curved spine or dsylexia or MS, would I burden the others without it with a guilt-trip?

Come on.

It is their fault if they're the ones inflicting the pain! terms like ***, freak, *****, etc permeate the adolscent scene and beyond. Any male not fitting gender conformity is slandered as a homosexual. Now we are told we are not good enough to adopt, serve in the military, or marry the one we love.

Gays should NOT be raising children, they cannot produce. It's abusive to the child and the child is forced into an abnormal situation.

I've known many gay families with children, and they all turned out pretty darned normal... more so than many "traditional" families out there.

If you were being denied rights as a disabled person, then you SHOULD be giving others a guilt trip... haven't you heard of the Americans with Disabilities Act? I sure have, since they visited my library (which I manage) recently to make sure we're up to code!

comparing a disabled person with someone with a biologically abnormal sexual preference is hardly a fair or honest comparison.

I highly doubt you could substantiate that, or that you have investigated the issue fully. Are you a child psychologist? Have you done an interview?

Your philosophy totally ignores gays and lesbians who do have children of their own, not adopted, but children they gave birth to or sired. Are you saying they can't raise their own biological offspring?

How is it biologically abnormal? Homosexuality even occurs in nature.
