Hope? Having gone through it personally, no, I don't "hope" you ever have have to make such a decision. I truly mean that.
BUT, might such a decision have to be made? All I can tell you is, it is a fact that woman all over the world have to make the decision every day. And, no one knows what type of decision they will make unless, or until, the time comes when the decision needs to be made.
I know they have to make the decision every day.
And my boyfriend and I are set on one decision. My life comes first no matter what.
Nah, I do like that she brought this up. There have been many times where I've expressed my opinion and then received a response of, "I thought liberals were supposed to be tolerant" or something similar. It gets old. It feels like they're saying that liberals aren't allowed to express their opinions about anything.
Its a cliche, one that there isn't really a clear origin, but I have heard so many times that the democrat party is an inclusive, broad minded party, open to new ideas and new ways of life, and the right wing are intolerant, small minded and not accepting of anyone or anything different.
When someone tosses that comment at you, "I thought liberals were supposed to be tolerant," maybe its just a satirical way of reminding both sides of the debate to be open minded?
The women who are most vehemently pro-choice usually argue that "the men make the laws and abortion doesn't affect men, so they have no right to ban or even restrict it."
Funny:
1) Abortion does affect men
2) Last time I checked, women also make the laws in this country. For example, my state senator, state representative, US representative, and one of my two US senators are WOMEN. And most of these women are pro-life. Pro-choicers don't have an easy time getting elected around here.

I disagree....and for the record I usually find you a vary fair poster, but I take exception here.
Why would your anti male analogy of someone else matter to you? I have friends who are lesbian, and, they could care less about what a man has to offer them. One friend is a mechanic, and another is a highway department worker, and another is a cop, sooooooooooo, women really only need men for one thing, and we all know what that is. next time, maybe you should consider the topic at hand? Oh, btw, I have met some women who are pretty darned self sufficient, and, they don't need men period.
I really don't know what your point is. All I said was that I have the impression that she is anti-male. There are women who are anti-male, so she wouldn't be the first. There are also men who are anti-female. Intolerance goes in all directions.

Your impression is wrong. I told you already. Good God.
True, and I was just looking at the title she used for this topic. I don't agree with it. I also don't like the other thread on this topic that's titled "Why are liberals so intolerant..." Both that thread and this one are biased from the get-go.
A better debate would probably be to simply ask, "What does 'tolerance' mean to you?"
Very true. I'd rep ya again if I could for this post. Gotta spread it around first. LOL.
My friend, can you please go back and reread the post that AnUnidentifiedMale was referring too.
Was anything in there saying I hated men? NOPE. I was just saying that I dont let them control me or my body.
Was that something wrong, my friend?
Oh my. I fear your new favorite "pardner" (your comment from page 10 of this thread) might not be your favorite anymore.
