I think titles from the 30s and 40s were certainly easier to obtain because there were only 10 teams during that time.. but they were NOT Barnstorming.. Barnstorming would be traveling team that would play local teams made up of amateurs.. There was still a lot of flux within the league up until the mid 30s.. but sometime around the mid 30s things within the league stabilized and teams stop moving around as much.. by the 40s there was little movement and most of the teams in league are still in the league today.

It was most certainly an organized sport back then as there were OWNERS who had invested a lot money.. they had stadiums to play in, they were paying the players and the refs. They had ticket sales and concessions.. i would argue that it was just as organized as baseball was back then which would debunk the hobby theory..

The game has changed enormously since then but heck, its changed enormously since Super Bowl I. I don't view Super Bowl XX the same as I view Super Bowl LI the game is constantly changing...

Back to the Skins

I see they are winning 13-10 as I need them to win this game and put a firm hold on that last wildcard at 7-4-1 so the eagles can be done.

Wow, I guess the Cards were a bit tougher than fans on here were giving them credit for. Cousins choked at the end

Bad Loss for the skins since they lose the 6th spot in the NFC and fall to 7th making next week game against the eagles a must win

doesnt matter where they are, they still have a chance at a playoff berth. granted a lot has to happen for them to get there, but right now they are taking a never say die attitude.

If definitely matters where they are since Christmas is fast approaching. When the media shows the playoff pic they really should only be showing the teams who have the wildcard and the teams who are the closest

Giants-8-4-1st wildcard
Tampa-7-5-2nd wildcard

Skins-6-5-1
Vikings-6-6

Not the cardinals and eagles who are way at the bottom and lose all tiebreakers

They don't lose the tie breaker to the Skins
