funny thing happened this morning.. a buddy of mine came up to me at work and asked me if my son was upset yesterday because the Cowboys lost.. I said, NOPE.. He is used to it!
I gave up on my Lions after the 4th turnover. We don't get many Detroit games on the TV here in Phoenix, and I stepped outside to enjoy some nice fall weather instead of continuing my agony in the living room.
But then.....
.....wifey calls me in stating that the Lions are near the goal line......
Holy @^$#.........
Not to worry.
The Cowboys have a much better chance winning their division than the Lions.
I can't stop thinking how Landry would've (without a doubt!) cut Dez before he could get on the plane, and Jimmy would've at least suspended him, imo.
With that line of thinking, those Cowboy teams played with passion because they knew their spot in the lineup depended on it, and anything less was unacceptable. Their teammates would've kicked their @sses if they would've pulled something like that, or pulled boneheaded plays on the field.
Accountability - big difference today.
