Going in with zero expectations for a Cowboys win made this pill a little easier to swallow. But at the very end, I was ready to Kill Romo even though I knew that without him the Cowboys loose by 35.

Now having slept on it, i still want to kill Romo but I will start with the defense first. I know the Broncos are blowing out every team but geez, couldn't you force 1 punt, just 1! Right now after 5 games, the Cowboys defense looks worse than it ever did under Ryan. That's doesn't mean, they can't get better.. they are gonna have to. Now IMO, they are in a must win game next Sunday vs the Redskins. They need to win this game for confidence purposes. If they loose their 3rd straight game of the season and 3rd straight against RGIII, they might just quit on Jason.. argh..

I think it's a must win game for both the Cowboys and the Redskins. As bad as the NFC East is right now, you can't even count out the hapless Giants at 0-5! This is the worst I have ever seen this division.

Definitely can't blame Romo for that. He played his ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS off. Both teams left their defense at home. When you put up 48 points you should be expected to win unless of course you are playing Peyton Manning.

Must have been a trial size can... I don't think 51 points is something to award game balls over. Did you see the bootleg TD? Neither did 10 of the 11 Cowboys!

I am both a Dallas and a Denver fan, but I admit I was pulling for Denver more and more yesterday. Maybe it was the TV shots of Jones prancing around the suite after a score or Romo whining to the media during the week about the calls Denver gets away with, but I was turned off by the 'boys going in.

At the end of the day, the fact remains that every team in this division stinks and the least stinky one gets to win the division, go to the playoffs and get whooped by a better wild card team..... I mean, when was the last time a 0-5 team was only 2 games back from the division lead??

Next weekend's Redskins vs. Cowboys will be very interesting, it's a must win for both teams and both teams have god awful defenses!

As far as the Bronco players who were injured, coulda shoulda woulda. The Cowboys laid the wood today. They came to play and the Broncos are lucky they got Peyton Manning.

I think Champ Bailey is great. I used to not be a fan. He earned my respect as the best cornerback in the league. It's been about 15 years now or so it seems. Champ got burned like toast in his last game and is probably the main reason the Broncos did not go to the Super Bowl this year. Moore's blunder sealed the deal. Von Miller is an idiot and I think the team will be worse when/if he comes back. I hope he chokes and gets benched. Better yet, I hope he goes to jail for being a habitual criminal... wait, that's sort of what he is now. Urkel is a locker room cancer, imo. The Broncos don't need him.

I like Chris Harris and Tony Carter. Tony went for the ball and got burned and it cost the Broncos a touchdown. Unless he picks up a pick-six somewhere, he almost cost the Broncos the game. I hope Chris Harris heals up and is ok. He will be Champ's replacement. All I'm saying about Champ is that he's lost a step. He could use a little bit of safety help. It may be you or someone else who rightly suggested that they drop Champ back to safety to cover over the top. Something else I love about Champ is his ability to tackle. I hope he returns soon and can still compete. He is getting old.

RDC didn't give up a couple of plays, he got beat. He got beat. He got beat. Credit Cowboys.

Defensively, nobody has stopped the Broncos yet. Maybe that other team down I-70 will have some luck. The Broncos have a dogfight on their hands.

I still say Romo did not lose the game for Dallas. I don't look at stats. I think they are stupid. The only stat I care about is the win-loss column. Do you remember the play where Dallas was at 3rd and 10, Romo gets pulled down by his jersey, steps out and completes a pass for a first down? That play led to a touchdown if I'm not mistaken. That throw of Romo's that was picked off, Danny Trevathan I believe, he cut the route and made an acrobatic leap to get that interception. I'd say it was more the Denver Broncos defense making the one and only play of an otherwise lousy day to make that interception, not a really bad throw by Romo... imo.

Yeah, you can say what you will about Romo's mo. If Romo plays like he did today, he wins 8 out of 10 games.

The Broncos are really good. They should thank their lucky stars that they won this game. This is one they should have lost.
Wait until you see all the game

Seriously, it wasn't as bad as it sounded. I certainly wouldn't agree that the Cowboys "laid the wood". Save for the very early part of the game and a few fleeting moments at the end, the Broncos were in control and in the lead.

Tony didn't go for the ball on that touchdown. He had outside technique and had absolutely perfect coverage. Romo just happened to get the ball far enough out there that Carter couldn't deflect it. Give them credit, that was a good play on there part, not a mistake on Denver's. DRC only gave up two big plays that I remember seeing. No biggie for a guy who has been rock solid thus far.

Trevathan had the receiver extremely well covered on that play, and since it was only 2nd down there was no need to force the pass. A smart player would have checked off to another option or thrown it away. Romo forced it and got picked. Game over.

How about the constant shots of Romo's wife? That was just as annoying.

A Win is a Win and a Loss is a loss in the NFL, last time I checked.

Romo got sacked when it counted most, the Offensive line still needs some help. And Cowboy Penalties, especially on defense (defensive holding twice?) really hurt the team.

In the end, the team that scored the most points won, which is usually how it works, even in Dallas.

(BTW I hate both teams, but I won a poll by picking the Donkeys in the Super Bowl rematch with 99 total points scored. HUGE payday for me $$$!!!!! THANK YOU PEYTON !!!)
