My feelings exactly.

Just back to the forum after the holiday break.

There was mention from WXsouth on his FB group that a) FB was making it difficult for him to continue posting there and it may end soon, and b) that earlier predictions about this being a severe and colder winter have been reversed to one that will be warmer than usual. Yay for that. Not sure about the wetness factor.

For those interested in gaming and cosplay, the annual Carolina Games Summit is being held in Goldsboro on February 2 at the Maxwell Center.

Still a non-stressful drive along 440, particularly 440 West. Great way to start the New Year. RTP'ers must still be on break. This upcoming Monday, though... ugh.

This coming Monday is going to be "entertaining" for commuting to say the least.

Ugh... so true. Not looking forward to the resumption of that kinda "entertainment" at all.

Forget the drivers who are obviously bad. NCDOT should be ashamed of the conditions some of these side roads. The amount of lumps, bumps, and potholes in the road are terrible!

Also, another complaint:

If NCDOT is going to change all the lights on the freeway to LEDs, then it would help to keep all the fixtures ON. I was driving on 85 and the lights were flickering on one exit!
