OK....I got a call today from my realtor...She was showing a house today and found out there is a buyer that is perfect for my house--the buyer wants a 2 bedroom. The kicker is she wants to see it by Wed at the LATEST! My bathroom is in shambles! I skim coated the entire bathroom today. Tomorrow when I get off work I have to prime and paint all day without any sleep because I work Tues and Wed night.

Tex, you did the smart thing plus you did a reverse jinx if you wouldn't have started the remodel no 'buyer who is perfect for your house'. Take some no-doze or whatever, stong coffee get it done and hopefully an offer (any sick days you could take - technically major meltdown over possible 'perfect buyer' would qualify)

Tex- sweetie, make it easy on yourself- IMHO ( said this in a rep) Just lightly sand that skim coat, prime and paint one neutral color, Don't wast time, money and effort on the chair rail..only do the least to have a functional, simple bathroom to show!!!
better yet, let them come asap and say the bath can be finished and painted the way they would like it!~!!

Tex, deep breaths, luckily just a bathroom and not a redo of the whole place. As long as they have a heads up, im sure they'll understand!!

im feel like crap, from too much wine (or too many different flavors of wine??) but need to pack a bit and get the house cleaned in case there's a showing when we're gone. like that's gonna happen.
BUT I found an Broker/agent today that is surprising. Caught her in her office this a.m., she said will get back to you later, and lo and behold SHE DID! Returned to her office and called me, talked for a very very long time and she will be coming out MON with a contract for me to sign. Can not believe she used up her Sat. doing CMA, searches ect. on my place. A GOOD SIGN, YEP?
Working SAT??? HECK YES...working SUN too?? Natch! I work 7 days a week and even when my cell phone is charging it still stays on, so if someone calls I can answer it. Half my clients even have my HOME number
I wrote a contract on one of my listings yesterday...got my sellers to agree to the terms and now the "so called" buyer? Is waffling on the $10K for the boat, motor and boat lift...the motor alone was $11K and has less than 50 hrs on it....:s mack:
